The existing Power and Heating Plant will not be able to satisfy the emission limits valid after 1.1.2016. The purpose of the FS was to analyse the proposed Alternative solutions, in order to achieve requirements of the latest legislation in force in Slovakia and satisfy the heat Consumers.

Technical and commercial analysis of the present operation of the Plant, examination of the auxiliary technology and its suitability for future operation, basic Concept Layouts for each Alternative and their evaluation, including principled schemes, media consumptions, risk analysis, etc. The results of the study were supported by economic analysis of each Alternative.
